TNT Toastmaster Meeting Minutes

Tuesday July 24 featured topics "all at sea." The word for the day, "obsequious" was noted by Lynda to contain the sound of our topic 'sea.' By way of introducing the topic, President George sang a bit of the song, "By the Sea." Fred gave an educational speech on Vocal Variety in which he incorporated varieties of quality in pitch, volume, pauses and others in a delightful presentation of the many ways to spice up a speech, keeping in mind their support of the topic. Annely led us in a spirited Table Topics extemporatneous speaking round in which everyone, even our guest, Rebecca, contributed! Lynda related adventures while whale watching; George shared 3 vignettes from the sea, Fred spoke of cruises, Marcia of a harrowing event of her daughter falling in, and Rebecca of experiences in Minnesota, where she was raised. A delightful time was enjoyed by all!   Please join us!
