Recent Events

In this column we applaud special achievements of our members. These days we are especially missing Tom, who has taken a position of service in Kosovo, and will be giving us updates as to his adventures in that troubled part of the world.

This area will be used for information about specific members. Toastmasters is a place to celebrate diversity as we are very diverse! For instance, favorite topics for speakers may include [George - numbers games and history and peanut butter; Annely - outdoors and gardening; Lynda - baseball & other Americana; Tom - half-eaten hotdogs and family themes; Fred - mastering the timed speech and Toastmaster topics; Marcia - history and Finland]! Come and learn and learn to listen and learn to be comfortable in speaking and organizational skills.

We may list each member's skill or achievement level in Toastmasters. This is a great way to keep up to date on how fellow members are doing. We may also have links to members personal web sites.
